As a child, the most dreadful thing
you could be told after an eye exam visit is that you need glasses. I myself am
a prescription eyeglass wearer. I used to hate them because I would be taunted
and teased, until I found the perfect fit for me. Now we’re inseparable! Don’t
let your glasses wearing experience be an unpleasant one, but instead a splendid
journey with trendsetting frames. The uses of glasses aren’t limited to only those
who can’t see; use them to add flare to your outfit. Popular
brands include Michael Kors, Derek Cardigan, Joseph Marc, Kenneth Cole,
Dolce & Gabbana, and Ray-Bans just to name a few.

The round shape adds a
confident and sophisticated edge. Rectangular frames can be sliming, and
looks best on oval-shaped faces.

Maintenance of your glasses is very important. Smudges, fingerprints, facial oils and
substances in the environment from accumulate on your lenses and in the creases
of frames. Here are a few cleaning tips
in case you don’t have lens spray available:
·
Never wipe your lenses dry to avoid lens scratches.
·
Ultrasonic Cleaning
This is a deep cleaning method that removes a great amount of dirt particles.

Hand
Washing
Wash glasses with luke warm water and mild dish washing liquid using wet, lathered hands to gently wipe your frames and
lenses to remove facial oils and loose dust particles. Rinse the soap off
thoroughly in clean running water and dry using a soft clean dry 100% cotton
cloth.
·
White
vinegar
Use
a couple drops of vinegar onto each glass lens, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Vinegar won't discolor lenses like ammonia-based glass cleaners and will leave
the lens streak-free.
It’s cheaper than store-bought eyeglass cleaner, environmentally-friendly, and
has no harsh chemicals or smells.
