As some of you may know, Mercedes Benz
Fashion Week kicked off this Thursday September 5th! Many of
the world’s biggest and greatest designers, such as Calvin Klein, DKNY, Marc
Jacob, and Michael Kors just to name a few, came to showcase their fall fashion
lines. It
gave the public a first look into the 2013 Spring and Summer trends before it
hits stores.
I
have always dreamed of
attending a Fashion Week show. Although I have yet to do so, I keep the hope
alive and stay updated by researching and viewing pictures of the show. A lot
of the work captivated my interest leaving me in awe and had me head
over hills! There are a few trends I’ve noticed, and I’m going to let you in on them!
Black leather pencil skirts, peeped toe pumps, geometric
prints, daring and bold accessories, vibrant and playful
printed attire, floral prints, and clutches (women’s handbags). Make sure you get these
items to make sure you stay in the loop!
You
could never go wrong with drop-dead gorgeous heels and eye-catching handbags
that help make your outfit a show stopper.
These heart
beat wedges will steal your heart!
The key is
to look elegant, chic, and fresh but also STAND OUT!!! Don’t be afraid to take
risks and be bold. Nicki Minaj
looked pulled this look off very well. She usually turns heads with her over
the top wigs, and vibrant colored outfits, but this look spoke subtle
sophistication.
