De-Segregated September....

De-Segregated September... How to Mix Spring and Fall Fashion Flawlessly!

NYFW 2012

A great fitting trouser in a bright hue is perfect for Fall. Coverage and Fashion in one easy piece.

A Bright Scarf

When going for a quick "POP" to your Fall ensemble, throw on a bright scarf. The sky is the limit when creating a complimenting silhouette. If pairing a scarf with a cropped jacket, keep the scarf short and stacked. When pairing a scarf with a full blazer opt for a loose carefree knot or basic twist to keep the proportions in tack.

Color Block

Finding a Bright trench this year will be as easy as finding loose change in your purse. Fall Fashion is revolving around Spring colors, Winter Silhouettes,  and Fall Functions.

Fashion Friends

Find colors that compliment each other, Since this trend is Bold and Bright it is very important not to look like a circus clown. No more than 2 bright items above the waist and only 1 below the waist.

Balance
Play it safe and balance your bold prints and bright colors with black accessories.

Fall Floral

A bright Floral skirt can be a little overwhelming, the lower body can be a tricky place to display bold fashion. The key is "less is more". Balance a daring skirt with muted tones and structured pieces. This grey top and grey pumps add a realistic edge to a busy piece. The structured jacket cinches in the waist and minimizes the hips so that the skirt is the focus of the outfit.

MIX IT. BLEND IT. SHARPEN IT. ROCK IT!!

Leather shouldn't sag
To have the perfect fit every wear... With wear leather pants tend to loose shape in the rear and knee area. Take your handheld dryer on it's highest setting 4inches away aimed at the loose spots. Do this at 60 seconds increments until your pants are like they were the day you bought them.

Arriving in Formal

Ariving In Formal wear without Wrinkles... There can't be a grand arrival if you arrive in Wrinkles. Place a hot damp ( NOT WET) towel under your dress on top of your thighs while driving. It's a mild steaming effect that will prevent wrinkles.

Treasure in the New Orleans Streets...

As I was walking the New Orleans streets, I stumbled upon a very Regal Persona sitting on a bench. Shoulders back, head up as if a camera crew was working on a perfect shot. I walked straight while never taking my eyes off of what I envision as the Epitome of  "Sharpen The Edges". I bee-lined towards her without hesitation and asked, "May I please take your Picture for my Blog?"  The Brightest smile I'd seen since stepping off the plane looked at me like" this is a relaxed day"  before replying, "where do you want me to stand?"
Her statute was long, lean, and curvy. Her clothes seemed as if they were designed,  measured, sewn on her just hours before going to work. I was rushing to capture the essence of  her fashion because her poise announced that her job was important and her time was valuable. Something about her captivated me.
After taking her pictures, I thanked her and tried not to keep her any longer; but to my surprise she initiated small talk and I couldn't help but to "fist pump" in my head.  I immediately bombarded her with questions on her  fashion and inspirations. The conversation  was short, informative, and left me wanting to know more. So I did  what any harmless stalker would do... I GOOGLED her.
