Nude fashion is on the rise because it flatters all body types. The mono color helps to keep the lines of the body flowing as smooth as water. When wearing the Nude trend stick to different shape in each piece. If you're wearing a super tight bottom piece even out the outfit with a puff sleeve or an over-sized neck bow.

If you find Nude pieces with a little bit or a lot of detailing make sure the colors are not over bearing and blends well with pale accessories.

Color-Blocking for the daytime is soooo much fun. The brighter the better. Always choose colors that accent your skin tone and your features. Your outfit should never over power your personality, it should reflect who you are. Hint: Bring out all your personalities ( we all have more than one). Never be the person with a one dimensional wardrobe, life is too short for simplicity.

 OK ladies, I'm really going to make this easy for ya!!!! The color wheels are guidelines for what colors go well together. If you must follow the rules to get comfy, do so and then break all the rules.

Color- Blocking for the night should be less colors, more accessories, and shiny metal tone shoes.The shoes add an edgier look for night.  Two parts of your outfit should match so that your look is not too busy. I chose to match my shoes and bracelets since I did a powerful statement necklace (4 necklaces layered). Jessica Simpson Metallic Strappy Sandals are my go to night shoe.

The key to Color-Blocking is pairing your favorite pieces that don't match but accent each other well!!!!

Have fun and play with your comfort zone, it's bigger than you think!!!!

             3 Shirts, 2 Skirts, and a denim jacket later the cashier said, "Your total is $14.96 Ma'am". That was the moment I fell in LOVE with Thrifting. The endles possibilities on each aisle captivated me like a kid watching their first Disney movie. I was disgusted by some pieces and instantly drawn to others, I had finally found the trap door of my wardrobe.
            Among some of the thing that I wore once and donated, I have timeless pieces that I will treasure and share with my kids( If I ever find their father). I imaging the places these things have been and the stories that lie woven in the threads and I smile at the thought of being a part of  it's Fashion History.             


            Ladies there is nothing wrong with prancing around the local thrift store and Goodwill toting a Gucci bag, Hell!!!!! with the money you're saving you can buy another Gucci or that Louis Vuitton you've been eyeing.

$4 Shirt +$8 Belt +$79 Clutch = Money left to Eat

Now get out of the mall and go THRIFTING!!!!!
